Counter I / Managed security for healthcare

Everything measured. Everything labelled. Nothing handed over unchecked.

Twenty four security preparations, made up to order. Dental practices and medical ones. Clinics of any size. Behavioral health providers. And whichever company handles the billing behind them. One rate per unit per month, one labelled drawer per group, and a written account of the point at which each one stops.

Props up technical safeguards inside a HIPAA security program that remains yours to operate. Buying is not complying, and nothing here finishes with a certificate.
Counter II / What the label says

A dispensary tells you what is in the bottle.

Healthcare security pages are written to leave a particular impression without ever making a claim anyone could be held to. We would rather print the label. Here is what these preparations contain, and here is what stays on your side of the counter no matter how much you spend with us.

In the bottle

What you are actually buying

  • Technical safeguards, operated. Detection, allowlisting, mail protection, device management, record discovery, encryption and copies, each run by engineers rather than handed to you as a console login.
  • Evidence with dates on it. Patch reporting, scan findings, training completion, restore proof. Material your own risk analysis can quote and an insurer can be shown.
  • A written scope. Which devices, which mailboxes, which tenants, which retention, and what has been deliberately left out.
  • Paperwork ahead of provisioning. Any preparation that would put Fortify 24x7 within reach of protected health information waits behind a signed business associate agreement.
Not in the bottle

What no purchase here can do

  • It cannot make you HIPAA compliant. That word describes a whole practice weighed against the risk analysis it wrote for itself. A basket of software does not produce the condition, and we will not phrase anything here so that a hurried reader thinks it does.
  • No certificate exists to be had. Nobody certifies a security product against the HIPAA Security Rule, so a compliance seal on a vendor page is artwork that vendor paid a designer for.
  • It cannot cover locked clinical equipment. Imaging modalities, analysers and dental sensors are commonly sold with a vendor prohibition on third party software. Those need segmentation and a written decision, which is a different piece of work.
  • It cannot rule on a breach. Calling an incident reportable, then telling whoever the law says must hear it, is work for you and for your lawyer, done with our evidence to hand.
Whatever ends up on your script, four things never leave your desk: the risk analysis, the policies and the sanction procedure, the training file, and the list of agreements you have signed with your other suppliers. Each is a document about your own organisation, written by people who work inside it, and no vendor anywhere sells one. Our part is to supply measurements and dated evidence solid enough that writing them stops being guesswork.
Counter III / The drawer bank

Six drawers. Take what the practice needs, leave the rest.

No bundle to unpick anywhere on this site. A drawer holds its own preparations, a preparation carries a unit beside its rate, and each drawer page finishes with a flat statement of the point past which those lines do nothing. Whatever you pick arrives as one invoice.

Detection and response · SentinelOne, Fluency alongside

Behaviour gets judged on the machine. Correlation hauls in the rest of the signal around an event. The finished case lands with an analyst already on shift, who writes down a verdict. There are three tiers: report, investigate, or shut it down and explain afterwards.

Locked press

Execution control · ThreatLocker

Software somebody approved gets to run; nothing else does. Put it on a reception machine opening the same handful of clinical applications daily and it is the hardest working control in the catalog. Our approval desk is staffed so it never turns into a queue.

Mail that arrives · Ironscales

Because protection lives in the mailbox rather than outside the tenant, a message that turns hostile after arriving can still be lifted back off the desk. Beside that runs phishing simulation written for healthcare, and a lesson for whoever clicked.

The device register · N-able N-sight, Addigy, Zimperium

What hardware there is, what each piece runs, whether patches landed, and which one stopped reporting. Windows, macOS and Linux go through N-able N-sight; the Apple estate goes through Addigy; handsets go through Zimperium; and the filtering travels in the laptop bag.

Records under seal · Actifile

Find where patient identifiers actually came to rest, attach a figure to each machine, then rule on the roads a record may leave by. Locate before you enforce, in that order, for reasons the drawer page sets out.

Keeping jars

Copies that keep · N-able Cove with Dropsuite

Desktops, then servers, then whatever runs inside a hypervisor. After those, two cloud tenants, the directory configuration, and the practice ledger. Nine labels, and the last of them does nothing except restore the other eight on a schedule and hand back dated proof.

Counter IV / Jars on the shelf

Every jar carries the name of whoever made it.

None of this came out of a back room of ours. Each jar earned its place by surviving contact with a working practice. Fortify 24x7 holds the licence, and engineers who do nothing else keep an eye on it. That eye is what the money buys. Nowhere here has a maker name been scraped off and ours printed over the gap.

SentinelOne

Judges what a process does rather than what it is named. Sits on desktops, on servers and on cluster nodes, and acts alone where the evidence leaves no room.

Fluency

Keeps signal from several systems side by side, and keeps it long enough to answer a question somebody thinks to ask three weeks late.

ThreatLocker

Holds the list of what may execute, bounds what an approved tool may then touch, and puts every elevation request in front of a person.

Ironscales

Attaches to a mail tenant over an API rather than standing outside it. Nowhere on this site is that called a gateway, because it is not one.

N-able N-sight

The unglamorous work, all from a single agent: patching, watching, scripting, remote hands, and filtering on the way out.

Addigy

Pulls Mac and iPad hardware under the same rules as everything else on the register.

Zimperium

Weighs risk on the handset itself, without hauling a clinician's traffic through somebody else's inspection point.

Actifile

Turns up regulated records, scores every machine holding them, and encrypts what goes out of the door.

N-able Cove

Copies of whole machines, and copies at file level. Desktops, physical servers, hypervisor guests, plus the Microsoft tenant.

Dropsuite

Picks up where Cove stops. The Google side, the directory configuration, and the practice ledger.

Makers named, and a telephone that answers
Counter V / Making up a script

How an order becomes a practice that is actually covered.

Six stages, taken in order, with nothing unpleasant buried in the middle of them. A single site practice is usually through the lot inside a fortnight. Several buildings, or an unusual quantity of clinical hardware, and it runs longer.

Counting the stock

A scoping call and a walk around what you own. Machines, mailboxes, servers, tenants, and the clinical equipment locked by whoever built it. Surprises found now are cheap; surprises found after an invoice are not.

The agreement first

Anything that would bring Fortify 24x7 near protected health information waits on a signed business associate agreement. The paperwork goes first and the installing comes after.

Writing the label

The scope comes to you in writing: devices, mailboxes, tenants, retention, and the things we have deliberately left outside. A device we cannot reach earns a sentence on the label rather than a gap in it.

First measure

Agents go down, tenants get authorised, and the opening scans and opening copies run. Those first passes are heavy because each of them reads your whole scope once. What follows is only the difference.

Counter-check week

Allowlists settle in this week. Filters collect what they need. A schedule stops being measured against somebody's assumption and gets measured against the estate itself. Expect several short exchanges with us, and expect the week to shape the year.

Standing order

Alerting now wakes our engineers instead of your reception desk. The account counter holds the preparations running, the agents cut to fit, and the history of every enquiry.

Counter VI / The whole catalog

All twenty four, with the rate printed on each.

Nothing is called Gold here, nothing has to be unpicked, and no number is held back until somebody has spoken to you. Write what you need onto the script and it leaves as one card subscription.

The shelf is bare because billing did not answer. A reload normally puts that right. Should it stay bare, write to support@medisafenetworks.com and the job gets priced by hand instead.
